Detailed Description: MedShare is a 501c(3) humanitarian aid organization dedicated to improving the quality of life of people, communities and our planet by sourcing and directly delivering surplus medical supplies and equipment to communities in need around the world.

Medical Specialty needed: Any medical knowledge is very useful! We sort thousands of kinds of medical supplies from our hospital partners and medical expertise is helpful for identifying and categorizing the supplies. Many supplies are accessories to biomedical equipment so we often rely on our volunteer doctors’ expertise for these items.
Location: 2937 Alvarado Street, San Leandro, CA 94577
Time Required: MedShare’s volunteer program is very flexible and works with your schedule. We have volunteer sessions Tuesday- Saturday both morning from 9am-12pm and afternoons from 1-4pm. The minimum commitment is a 3-hour session. You can come as frequently as you want.
